我不得不说自己似乎对“光”有着执拗的偏爱,不管是自然的阳光还是人造的灯光,有时甚至对灯泡本身都会发生移情作用。我不知道这与光常常代表的光明、真理与希望等引申含义有多大的关系,但光所带来的温暖、变化多端和戏剧张力却是实实在在的。一个本应是潮湿阴冷、天然与藏污纳垢相关联的厕所一角,却因为一盏临时放置在那的、有着半透明蓝色灯罩的台灯而登时温暖鲜活了起来。

I seem to have a stubborn obsession with “light”, no matter the natural sunlight or the manmade lamplight, even the light bulb. I am not sure how much it has to do with the brightness, truth and hope that light is usually associated with; simply the warmth, the variety and the dramatic tension it brings is strong enough. A corner of a toilet is supposed to be wet and cold, but it suddenly becomes warm and vivid because of a lamp with translucent blue shade that temporarily placed there.
